London Sports Medicine Centres (LSMC) evolved from years of Physiotherapy practice and sporting involvement. LSMC was developed by Australian Physiotherapist Glenn Withers to meet the ever growing demand for fast access to high quality sports medicine care. Having been part of the successful sports medicine centres throughout Australia, Glenn saw that there was a lack of highly skilled sports clinicians readily available to athletes of all levels in the UK. A specialist sports medicine centre serviced by sports medicine professionals who have actually been involved with the challenges of sport - a true sports medicine centre, not just a name.
Glenn's belief is that to truely understand the demands of an athlete (physical, mental and emotional), a clinician should have first hand experience, both as a clinician and as a participant, of the dreams, challenges and culture that encompass sport.
